Description
Braving forests and mountains, Impa fled for her life from her pursuers. As she reached the very limit of her energy she found herself surrounded by Ganon's evil henchmen. Cornered! What could she do? ... But wait! All was not lost. A young lass appeared. She skillfully drove off Ganon's henchmen, and saved Impa from a fate worse than death.Her name was Link.

Remember this gem? She was the talk of Twitter back in April. Years ago, a retro magazine did a feature on the original Legend of Zelda, and... they mistakingly drew Link as a woman.

I couldn't resist doing my own take on her. So here she is! Uh, months later. This took me foreeevveeerr to finish, haha... ha...
My version of our heroic lass isn't much different from the magazine's. I wanted her to look closer to the real retro Link: shorter, younger (about 10-12), green eyes, big nose.
Also, I added pants. Because, y'know... pants.
I've been experimenting a lot with my art lately. I tried some different things here and like the result. I might use this style more in the future.
