I'm actually not quite sure why it does that. I think it might be partially because of the program I use. Either that, or I'm making my lineart too thin...

Well, nobody, even the most skilled artist in this world, can recreate the same work twice. Because we never have the same mood, the same tastes, the same desires. The only way to recreate a work twice, is to be the same as when we created the first work, and that's impossible.
(Also, your other colorings are great. you have a very good sense when it comes to colors, so don't worry.)
