When I was reading the sailor moon manga I kept noticing them talking about mars being elegant and beautiful and the like and I had this urge to draw her so. Not really sure why ahaha but it did teach me how to paint fire.I had originally saved all this stock but no matter what I did I couldn't seem to get it right so I took the initiative to do it by hand. I guess this means I don't have to credit any stock lol.
Anyway I have nooooo idea what i"m doing with the lighting but I tried my best to make it right. ahahahaha I hope it looks decent enough on other monitors considering mine is just... weird ahahahaha. Everything is a bit more saturated than I'd originally intended but I suppose since its hella fire it works... maybe lol.
Hope you guys enjoy. I might some day do all the other senshi in a similar style... but then we know me and motivation lol. I have other things I wanna work on.

uh i also gotta tell you that i favorited this, and yea i loved sailor moon anime when i was a kid, childhood favorite, but its like barney or my little ponies to me, baby stuff i don't care for anymore>grown out of, so it truely is because of your skillz man love the skillz!!!!!!!!!! XP

Her crows do deserve more love! (It's part of why I clicked on this picture- lol) And I was really interested in their descriptions of her in the reprint manga as well, but couldn't quite capture it in my own doodles. Glad you were able to.

^^ I know right. Its easy to see her as this angry hot tempered girl, but the manga described her as elegant and modelesque. I would say she's meant to fit the standard of classic japanese beauty

Yes, Phobos and Deimos do deserve love, and you've given it to them beautifully. I really enjoy how you drew the feathers.
I do feel that there should be a really extreme shadow on her farthest side, as the flames appear to be up front. Even if the flames surround her, I still suggest "cheating" by putting in heavy shadows towards the back. Contrast is king, and gives a lot luster to a picture.
This is not to say that the picture is still not compeltely epic awesome already. Great job.
