Lily walked to her favorite hill to relax and think about what she has done in her life, and what she wants to do. Lily loved going to this peaceful place because it was very quiet, and she liked it that way. She sat down and began to think. She thought about friends, thought about family, thought about just about everything she could possibly think about. Then the thought the big question, “What is life?” she asked herself. She thought some more,” Why do we live, to have fun? To Spread kindness? Or maybe even to make the world a better place?” She would continue to ponder this for a while, but for now, it was time for lunch. She picked up the picnic basket she had brought with her, and took out a bamboo sandwich (because that is what she liked for lunch), and took a bite. While she ate her sandwich, she thought about her friends. “Luna would have packed a honey sandwich” she thought. “And calypso would have packed an ice cream sandwich!” she laughed. Maybe she would bring them here for a picnic someday.
