Mam nadzieję, że nadaje się coś takiego..
Fajnie byłoby wreszcie wygrać w jakimś konkursie

Nie wiem jaki w tym sens, ale strasznie się wkurzyłam, bo miałam pomysł swój własny na to i siedziałam długo nad tym. A okazuje się, że wszystko to nieważne.

As much as I love the shading and flames, I did state not to redraw or copy an existing drawing, in the bottom of the journal, as did Purupururu. I'm sorry but I cannot accept this as an official entry. T.T

It is a copy, sure it may be flipped but it is drawn on the same angle, with a small change in expression and some fire. That doesn't make it an entirely new drawing. It will take a lot to deter purupururu and I's judgement.

So, if that purupururu something can't stand that someone can drawn it in the same style as she/he/it then I guess that contest doesn't have any sense at all.

Firstly, stop white knighting, it's pathetic and makes you look like an attention whore.
Secondly, this is not the same medium, it's done in pencil.
Thirdly, this contest has complete sense, I have hosted three before this one and Puru has done one beforehand. Which is, let me see, a shit ton more than you've ever hosted.
Fourthly, last time I checked, you are not 'everyone' you are one person.
Finally, you can complain all you like, but that does not account for your ignorance on the subject. The judgement is final.

It's also upstandingly hilarious how you find my contest unfair. I have a good reputation for holding good, fair contests. That always end without any hassle or misjudgement, I have never be scorned for my previous decisions.
I think you'll find it comes with being a judge, you criticise, although you obviously don't know what it's like to be a real artist or critic - and probably never will if you carry on drawing shitty the way you do.

But.. But...
First of all, my drawing is turned the other side than original drawing ('cause I like drawing like "from right to left", I don't know how to explain..), and has a different syle of drawing, so it's not a copy. (mine is drawn by pencil, not made on computer)
Also the character in my drawing is smiling, while original isn't.. The character has also outstretched hand and
flames in the bckground, so it's obviously NOT a copy.
I hope you'll think this matter over.

Yes, it is. It may be flipped and have a different expression, but that doesn't deter from the fact it is on the exact same angle, shaded in the same way (as in light source)
If I were to say, take a picture, let's say, The Mona Lisa, flip it and then draw it in pencil with flames - would that be considered copying? Of course it would. Sorry, but both Purupururu and I judged it wasn't original enough. T.T

Well.. So if you draw Mona Lisa, for instance, eating sandwich in the bathroom, it wouldn't be a copy? Even though it'd be THE SAME CHARACTER?

If per say, you changed the background to tiles and moved her hand up so that she had a sandwich, then yes it would be a copy, however, if you drew her on a different angle, for example, a side view, and of full body, then it would be vastly different. Regardless of the same character.
If you had put the effort into not heavily referencing the original then it wouldn't be so bad. If you put the original over this one, the only thing that is different is the fact it's flipped, has his hand stretched towards the viewer and there's fire. But other wise, it's the same.
I'm not saying it's a bad drawing, I'm just saying it's way too similar to the original. Sorry but the judgement is final unless *Purupururu changes her mind.

It's a pity you can't look on it in another way. And it's a pity that you work for long hours drawing something like this and you'll just hear that your drawing isn't not good and original enough. And it's a copy o_o

I also don't know why *Purupururu couldn't write to me about it instead of you. It goes about HER and mine drawing and I wrote to her, not to you. And, all in all, I don't know English very well so it would be just easier to talk with her in Polish. But.. nevermind.

I do very much appreciate the effort that has gone into the work, of course I do! And I understand why you must be upset, if it were under different circumstances then I might of accepted it, but the amount of entries Puru and myself have received that are just copies of our own work done in a different medium with a little bit added is a major pain - backed up by the fact I have people begging me for points when they advertise to 0 watchers, topped off with some people trying to tell me how to run my contest is also a royal pain.
Puru doesn't want to write because she hates conflict. She asked me to do so instead. I will see if I can convince her to tell you herself because I know how much of a pain it is to speak a different language, which you do very well I might add.

I find it realy good
i was reading the discussion about this being the same, and i personally find it to be different, main reason being it is in a different situation, as if beckoning the viewers to come join him in the dark side, unlike the original that is expressionless, there is also the fact that he is in flames, suggesting the dark side is in hell, or as an ironic viewpoint DARK opposed to FLAMES a light source
