Description

Mark is a military surgeon who was born intersex, but later in life transitioned to being male. Most of the backstory outlined on his page was fairly mundane, but there was one particular drawing there labelled as "distorted form", which, depending in how you see it, could be either metaphorical representation of anxieties about his condition or something he literally transforms into due to some supernatural circumstances.

In any case, this form had, among other things, included a giant malformed placenta he carried in his hand – in a manner eerily reminiscent to a particular enemy from a particular From Software game. So of course I had to address it!

Technically, this and the next pictures were not the part of my original plan and were added spontaneously near the end of the ArtFight, so the quality is noticeably sketchier than in the rest.
