A character from my story.

A swamp-dwelling creature that guards the passage to the ancient, long-abandoned Sacred City in the center of the Assembly. Yojin is fierce and violent, but not really as savage as one can assume.

Also, the word "yojin" is actually a name of an entire species, while the name on this particular one is mystery for ages. The yojin are savage, yet rather intelligent beings that tend to dwell near the ancient ruins, and are especially common in the so-called "History Dump ". They are said to be created by ionites , who made them by uplifting some of the fauna from their home planet at the dawn of times, and come in a variety of different breeds. They also display an interesting case of sequential hermaphroditism – all of them start life as male drones, but the largest and strongest would then change their sex and become female queens. They can also reproduce asexually by budding, though the process is a bit too complicated to explain here.
