Coloured Sketch Commission for the wonderful Skazzy
It's done! It's finally done!
This took far longer than it should have done. I've lost count of how many times re-did certain parts because I didn't like them...
But I'm happy with it, finally. And it was (eventually) a lot of fun. Especially those fish

I do too. It's mostly the way you made the dark blue character that attracted my attention. I feel like that color is special,
I tried several times to create a 3D piece with those colors but I failed miserably each time XD (it kind of reminds me of gold. Yeah I know, doesn't make much sense

I absolutely LOVE how this came out!! How did you do those crystals??? I have NO idea how to shade them and you did so well!
I also really like the weight of the FUR on that tail! It's AMAZING! You also did a really good job with his neck fuzz my goodness! You also made the character fit in super well with the background!

Honestly those crystals looked really flat and boring when I first painted them. Then BOOM Overlay layer mode saves the day. :'D

Okay, calm. Where do I start? This is just absolutely fantastic!
The overall atmosphere...it's so...whoah! Calm, mysterious, magical...just...whoah!
Then, that cave! The flowing water, the rocks, the pool...so...asdhjadhj...Awesome job with the character. The fur. The shading. The head. The details, the glow, the, fur, the shading...the..ashdjasdhj
I'm seriously sitting here right now, waving with my arms and not being able to put what I feel in words! ARGH!
AND I HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED WITH THESE GEMS. OH MY GOD THESE GEMS HOW DO YOU DO THAT.

Next time we do a trade I need some of these gems. Like, seriously need them. I can't express how happy these buggers make me, they're...FANTASTIC! They sparkle, they glitter, their shapes, they glow...they...they...
I'm fighting with tears because of how beautiful and perfect they are. ;___;

Hahaaa, it has been noted! Next time we do an art trade, gems shall be there. :'D I'm really glad you like them so much, I'd never drawn them before and I did like...so many attempts at them here to get them looking like something I'd at least be happy to give to the commissioner.
And anyway! I remember you doing pretty amaaaaazing gems in one of your pieces! I can't remember what it was called, it's one of your older works, but it had gems and a dragon with some gold coins. But those gems had like pretty colour gradients in, I remember! <3

Yeah XD; I dunno if you can see on the detail shots (It's a bit dark) but the lines are all scribbly. x: They only look neater here 'cause it's been scaled down :'D
