I made this and a few other robots of my own up because I don't really like manga-style robots all looking decidedly elfin etc. I tried to make my robots in between manga and mechwarrior. Anyway, hope you like it.Related content

Pretty damn good. The articulation looks plausible and subtly organic and the design is well thought out.
Now, just work on the shading so it doesn't all blend into a single gray morass and it's perfect.

just a tad bit metelgearish, but very nice. you have a nice amount of detail going on, but some of it is lost around the middle area. i would suggest shadiding up the middle a whole bunch and providing some contrast. other than that, awesome job!

seeing as all your robot designs were great, i will leave you just one comment to save you some time. fantastic robot designs, you ingenuniety, and avoidance of the manga and mechwarrior stereotypes work really well to your advantage. the style you have used is most befitting and i can do nought but congratulate you on the level of detail, show of movement, and most importantly your fantastic perspective skills...your foreshortening and pov are to die for in your work...thank you for sharing, its great to see work such as this on deviant art..

That is really insanely good! Do you colour sketches in photoshop or soething? Because that would look great will all glowing lights and shiny metal and stuff. Good job.
