Description
Whorl-Tooth Shark ( C )
Species: Helicoprion oceanus
Class: Beast
Habitat(s): Shallow Seas, Open Oceans, Deep Underwater Ravines
Diet: Piscivore
Bizarre shark relatives with a saw-like chain of teeth, Whorl-Tooths are one of many strange relatives of the common sharks. They’re as large as most sharks, like the Great white shark.
They can use their saw-like teeth to slice prey into pieces. The chain of teeth continues to grow as the shark gets older and larger, in most cases, record sizes reach up to 29 – 34 feet long. They don’t attack humans and would rather stay away from them.

I like the detail of the smaller fish following it, like real-life sharks having the fish follow them and eat the scraps left by the shark.

I feel bad for the people who don't live in it.

yup, a hard knock life
also thanks, the thing is most prehistoric animals are named after people and places so, for those, I have to come up with a general name to distinguish it.
Like if I were to do a Utahraptor, there's no such thing as a Utah in a fantasy world, so gotta name it something else and leave a glimpse of what it's species might be. Though the species name, too, I change since they aren't actually the same thing in real life. It's quite fun really
