Description A waterfall located in the Palisades Interstate Park feeding the Hudson River. Notice the structure at the top of the flow, These stone structures are all over the park and in various states of beauty and disrepair.

that looks like slate ? and i love the structure, counterbalance is a awesome way to build to, some designs using that method are AWESOME, SORRY!!!! this photo reminded me of that for some reason.

You should see these "little rivulets" when there's a thunderstorm.....best to keep clear, they take everything with them. I'm glad you did it in black and white, gives the shot an ageless feel - could have been taken two days ago or two decades ago.

And it just came to me, the whole area has a "headless horseman" feel to it, something like across the river north of Tarrytown.
