Another sketch I did in class. I KNOW I SCREWED UP THE SYMBOLS ON EVERYONE'S CHEST, I'M PISSED AT MYSELF TOO BUT OH WELL. Here's whos whoGreen Lantern (Willpower): Bowser

Sinestro/Yellow Lantern (Fear): Luigi
Orange Lantern (Greed): Wario
Star/Violet Lantern (Love): Yoshi
Red Lantern (Rage): Jr Troopa
Indigo Lantern (Compassion): Peach
Black Lantern (Death): Princess Shroob
White Lantern (Life): Geno

Why not Mario in red corps, Luigi in green corps, Wario in yellow corps and Peach in pink corps

Since the Lantern Corps are fueled by emotions, I chose the characters based on which emotional spectrum they fit best. Mario isn't really that angry to be in the Red Lanterns and Wario isn't that frightening within the Mario universe to be a Yellow Lantern. Luigi I was teetering on whether I should make a Green Lantern or not, but he's associated with fear the most so I thought him being the Yellow Lantern fit the most

Love. This was made way way before I knew that much about Lantern Corps beyond what they represent, though. Since Star Sapphire Lanterns are actually AGAINST males, I would have definitely chosen someone else in Peach's place

Hmm. I, too have done Mario Lanterns. Though I think Mario is better as a green lantern since he's had the will to stop Bowser again and again. Whereas the King Koopa doesn't know when to quit. My pic is on my front page if your interested.

Thats exactly why I chose Bowser as a Green Lantern, because he has the will to keep trying to take over. Plus he's shown that he isn't TOTALLY evil. Mario is that beacon of hope that thwarts any threat, which makes him a much better and more deserving candidate for the Blue Lantern Corps. And your own Mario Lantern Corps is pretty kickass if I do say so myself

Thanks for the fave and interesting perspective. The true reason I would make Mario green instead of blue is because blue lanterns' powers only really activate when a green lantern is present. For, and I quote "hope is nothing without the will to enact it." And Mario is a self made man, he'd need a GL just to have power and that isn't Mario to me.
But in truth anyone can really wield a ring, just some (much) better than others to a certain type.
