In Oberons Haven all the Faeryfolk know that if you are curious about what the future holds for you, you can go and visit Mary-May the Magpie. Mary-May is a very old bird. The ancient branches of the Midnight Tree are her home. It is said that with her fiery red eyes, she can read the stars, and for a price she is willing to tell you what's in store for you. A coin, a glass marbel, basically anything shiny will do. But beware, the future written in the stars is fixed and cannot be changed. It will come to pass! Ask yourself therefore, before you climb up the gnarly Midnight Tree to where Mary-May perches; 'Do I really want to know?
