Just saw the new version of War Of The Worlds and what a suprisingly enjoyable experience that was..Heres a quick piece inspired by the movie. Cant really remember all the details of the TriPod, but I think it was something like this

yeah i miss that movie i havent seen it in such a while thats a movie you could watch endlessly and never get board, and yes the tripod were so amazing im just suprized at how tall they are. im thinking about......................1000 feet tall its foot is bigger than my house and my house isnt small can you imagine sitting on one holy crap that would be the ride of a lifetime.

i borrowed the DVD off my cousin, i watched it 5 times in 3 days i want to borrow it again though i just love Robbie such a rebelious teenager, i was really sad when i thought he died i was like 'no! Robbie!' kinda like his dad, i dont know why but i laughed my ass off when he went 'or Mr. Ferrier but to me that sounds kinda weird so you choose'

Wow. This is just awesome. I can't believe you haven't gotten any favs on this, and so I shall give you one. It deserves to be in my favorites.
I love the coloring on this, the tones are excellent. Great lighting from the tripod, and I love the fire effect on the trees and the colors in the sky.

its really good got a really nice comic book feel to it i love the sky and the trees/mountains? either way they work well the legs look like they are gona fall inwards though and they look like they are on hinges rather than the "spine" like conections they were on when i watched the film i thought they looked quite flimsy lol still nice work like i said looks like pro comic art

I haven't seen the movie, but this pic is really Gorgeous.
So thats what the alien ship things look like, kinda squid-like....... I like Squidies!

Well I had no real reference for the ship so its just loosly based on the real thing, but I hope its quite close.. and yes a squid was the first thing in my mind too
