Second, the third season wasn't so bad. At least they still had companion digimon. The fourth season was when things started to get out of hand, I think. I don't really call that one Digimon, actually... more like 'random kids go and butcher the series'.

Well, season 3 was OK. Didn't really like the whole Digimon as a metafiction angle. But nothing compares with the first. Except maybe the movie.
