Same rosebush as the one from the first pic below. One of its flowers was past its prime when I took this photo, but the fallen petals on the ground looked really pretty. I didn't even have to rearrange them. So I placed my camera on the ground and took this (thank goodness for flip screens!). I loved the colors and light on these petals. Actually, I don't think I used the filters for this one (they make the colors all pastel-looking, so I don't really use them); just the regular zoom lens. I don't think I'll get a macro lens; I found out I don't like closing in that much on things.

I dont know why but this images makes me feel calm. I like the spalsh of yellow in the center. it really pulls the viewer in.

It's a beautiful contrast between the color on the petals and the background! It somewhat has a calming effect, and the light is just superb!

Aaahhh... I wish I hade a better hand with plants, so they actually survive more than two weeks so I could raise them and use for photography whenever I get bored, but oh well! xD
