For all intents and purposes, the team presentation of the Normandy crew is especially strong. Led by the female Commander Shepard, this diverse crew of aliens, minorities and creatures will work together to destroy the Reapers and prevent the extinction of all organic life, and whether one’s a fan or not of Mass Effect, they wouldn’t have trouble knowing we should salute and applaud these heroes. Heck, the sunray effect is used to focus on said team, with great effect.
Each character, left to right, is presented as a visionary looking beyond the horizon, which can be quite empowering to many people, regardless of creed. The Normandy is detailed strongly, and I suppose could easily remind one of past shows like Star Trek, with crew and Enterprise together as one. The painted galaxies, nebulae and bright colourful stars add a real beauty and a real finishing touch to what’s already a great presentation.
I believe a work like this deserves its own spot in my “Honorary Class” collection, whatever that means to you. Because of the immense detail packed into this work, this certainly has the makings of a movie poster in my opinion. All you’d have to do is slap on a title and release date and you’re good to go. Keep up the excellent work!
