Phantump is a ghost who lives in a forest, Mimikyu is a young witch who curses anyone who looks under her mask and Cacturne is a living scarecrow, who might be a bubak. For those who don't know bubak (aka budak) also known as bagbir or hastrman is a creature from Czech legends that looks like a demonic scarecrow. Bubak has a bag that he uses to kidnap people. The creature is able to reflect the cry of a small child to lure the late companions, whom he kills. After that, Bubak weaves a cloth from the souls of his victims. Why he needs it, and where did this living scarecrow come from - only the Devil knows. He is hiding on the banks of the river. Heheh, noice... Mythical creatures, yaay... Cacturne is eerily similar to that description except he came from a desert.

As for the relations of these three, Mimikyu and Phantump are best friends, while Cacturne plays kind of a father figure to them.
