For I will tell,
Of the terror in the night.
With fangs that bite,
And razor-sharp claws
On monstrous paws.

It hunts to feed its rage.
Fragment of a forgotten age
Lock your door. Bolt it tight,
For a demon roams the night.
In search of those that don't believe,
Nothing of its victims does it leave.

So if you're out some lonesome night,
And come upon this unearthly fright,
Be you a man or be you a mouse,
You will never reach your house.
I would remember this warning
Or you might not live till morning.
