Brimstone finds a random Sparkling stuck on earth, so she immediately takes em in.
The bots try to take it away from her, but she goes into a Protection Frenzy; common with the MUTOs.
They’ll become blind to any potential helpful advances and will guard and protect their young til the end.
She doesn’t recognize the bots as maybe trying to help, she only sees the young one and deems it her job to keep ‘em safe.
