hey thunder cloud, booming loud
try to find a reason why you’re so full of…
rain, a rainy day can bring us down
but it brings new life as it soaks the ground
can’t have pleasure without some pain
can’t have sunshine without some rain
can’t have jocks without some nerds
can’t have poems without some words!

Rather cute, whimsical, and amusing. I like rain, and/or overcast days. Especially in Summer, but only if it lasts most of the day and into the night -- that way, it manages to cool things off, but not be too humid. And of course lightning storms are awesome. Makes me think mad-scientist-type thoughts, but mainly applied to arts, crafts, and writing. Too bad I can't have the computer on at that time, or have the windows open while I'm drawing -- makes the paper all spongy.
Late Fall and early Spring rain I suppose is superior to Summer, for it isn't quite as humid afterward. Winter rain is good, as long as it's not in a northern climate; otherwise there would be sleet, which would be not so great to wish for.
