An enormous entity of unknown origins first sighted in the western pacific off the coast of Japan in year [||redacted||]. Sightings are reported more frequently in the recent years, which does raise concerns to a certain degree.

Along with the few recent appearances of the entity, another strange incident occurs from time to time: some vessels at sea, in particular smaller ones disappear for days or weeks without arriving at their predetermined destination. Instead they appear at other harbors or even coats of other nations where they don’t belong. Though all crew members of the said vessel seem to be perfectly fine with no signs of significant stress ||(at first…).||.
A correlation between sightings of ||Bake_Kujira A_00|| and the above mentioned incidents are still to be determined.

The entity shares its name with the ||Bake Kujira|| from Japanese folklore because of morphological similarities.
In the mythology ||Bake Kujira|| appears as a large white skeletal structure of a cetacean and embodies the restless spirits of whales which fell victims to humans.
Anybody who laid eyes on the creature will be stained with the whale’s curse and bring back plague and famine to their villages.
