you're believing the mcain lies and spin. i can't make you see the truth, i can only present it as i see it. if you liked the last eight years, you'll be happy with him. it's only been the last two years that there was a democratic majority in congress, and it still wasn't enough of a majority to override bush and the republicans.
why do i like obama?
obama didn't grow up rich, he worked his way up. mcain doesn't even know how many houses he owns. obama knows what it's like for the working class to struggle to pay the bills and will cut taxes for those making less than $250,000 per year; mcain wants to continue the bush policy of corporate tax cuts. obama wants health care for everyone; mcain will give a "tax credit" and then tax your employer for the health care they provide. only a few reasons among many. did you see mcain's reaction to the current economic crisis? he didn't know whether to shit or tie his shoe. he kept saying "country first" while putting his own interests first. i really liked mcain before this campaign, but it's shown his willingness to do and say anything to win, regardless of what's best for the country.

he's a creepy old man running for the US presidency. until the campaign, he seemed to be a respectable and ethical man, even though i disagreed with his politics. now it seems that he'll say anything to win, no matter how ridiculous. anyway, thanks, nice to see you around again!

thanks. i just saw mccain on television this morning making promises that he can't possibly keep... he's run a sleazy, dishonest campaign, saying anything he thinks will get him elected. basically another four years of george bush.

I like all the textures, distancing all but the bottom half of the man's face from the viewer. I don't know much of this election, but I do hope that Obama wins. I did hear about the vice president's daughter and her boyfriend though.

she's not very bright, but very ambitious. very bush-like... the thought of her in the white house is truly scary, to me!

I saw the first debate between McCain and Obama. McCain annoyed me because everytime it was his turn after Obama spoke he said that Obama didn't understand, when anyone who had been listening to Obama would know that he obviously did. I also loved how Obama said he was going to fund alternative energies. McCain just replied that he was going to do more offshore drilling.
I really really hope Obama wins... even more so after seeing that debate. He's a clever politician and a good speaker and thinker.

wish you could vote! you wouldn't believe the political tricks mcain's been up to over the last week or two, using the crisis on wall street to try and LOOK presidential, while offering nothing at all of substance.

I would think it would be smarter for him to distance himself from the crisis on Wall Street, given that the Republicans are the ones currently in power and could be seen to have caused the trouble in the first place.
It's odd being so interested in the election of a country when I have no say. But America is so powerful and an ally of ours that it makes it important.

isn't watching this campaign surreal? "straight talk" means "doublespeak", "change" means "more of the same", and
red is grey and yellow white
but we decide which is right
and which is an illusion...
woops, slippedinto an old moody blues tune. mittens, get your mittens here! i'm going to make a shitload of money selling holocaust mittens before we all go boom. boy howdy.

I am seriously considering not voting this go-round. Seems pretty futile, now more than ever. I've come to the conclusion that for the vast majority we are a nation Morons. It just seems inevitable to me that we are in for another 4-8 of the same crap especially if we go with Hockeymom-mania. The past 8 years apparently taught nobody any lessons. I see McCain and Palin are calling themselves, "The Mavericks". What are they a freaking wrestling team? I don't see how he can call himself a "Maverick" when he went along like a lemming with, by his own words, voting with Bush 90% of the time. More than ANY poltician, Maverick my ASS. I predict he will win, and slowly become senile like Reagan and his Barbie doll, goldigger wife will be running the show...Nothing will/can change until the lobbyist and that corruption is taken out of the equation and Congress is held responsible for their misdeeds, and since the are self policing, I wouldn't hold my breath...

there's still a chance for obama. the crooked way mccain's been running his campaign shows vividly what he'll do as president. it's all about winning to him, by any means necessary. the only chance we have is for everyone to get out and vote for obama, so please do! (i know he's a slick politician too, but he's definitely the better man.)

It's Karl Rove politics at their slimey finest and unfortunately they work. They work because people believe what they hear and see on TV. They don't bother to investigate to see whether or not it's true, it's on TV it MUST be true. Sure worked for "W", how else could a imbecile like that get elected not once, but twice. The Democrats have not had a counter plan for fighting back and so they have let the country believe that they are all free spending, high taxing super-liberals and "Satan's Party". Even tough the truh is "W" has rove the country furthe into debt than any other president and the last time we had a surplus was when Bubba, a democrat was in carge. Yet people still believe in wha they here on TV. Nver underestimate the power of stupidity in the average U.S. citizen.
I will probably end up voting for Obama out of last minute desperation. I think Obama made a fatal error in not picking Hillary for VP. Once again the GOP outsmarted the Democrats...

I couldn't bear to watch it, especially after dinner. That I'm just a humble "Hockey Mom" BS might work magic on the Evangelicals but all I can see is Carl Rove with one hand up her arse and the other hand up McCain's arse and he is working both their mouths, Sorry, I just threw up a little in my mouth.
