The path along the creek had been twisted but easy to follow. Amélie was occasionally dodging branches and twigs sticking out from the undergrowth, but remained determined to track the path to its end. As she noticed, the stream of water was becoming stronger until the creek transformed into a river and lapped against stones increasing in size. Amélie did not feel safe enough to plunge into it and preferred to observe its way. The force of the stream became stronger until breaking over an unexpected end. As the water crushed down into a pool and disembogued into a river, sun light hit the top of the waterfall and Amélie was standing on a stone, delighted by the view. The small esk was hyped and gazed at the waterfall in awe, then dashed down the rugged path alongside it. At the end, she lunged head first into the clear pond and enjoyed herself. She swam along and made a few turns, diving on her back, bathing in the sunlight. For once, she blocked out the unknown forest biome around her and dismissed the initial hostility she had felt. In this exact moment, her surroundings did not matter and she observed the golden light setting on the waterfall while relaxingly floating on her back.
