Well! this took a lot longer to complete than I would have liked it to. I think I put it off to do at least one other animation in the meantime (looking it up, it was actually three, I started this pretty much right after Babel it seems). This is one of my "always wanted to do" animations. Specifically, it's one of the animations that Doom refuses to do (That fall within my own interestes). In fact, it's five of them, and it's been in the works so long that I completely revamped some of the girls (You can see their older incarnations in the thumbnail). This is also a throwback to one of my earlier animations. I'll bet you'll also be able to guess which one.

I tried to keep this one simple, in order to prevent myself from losing interest in it. Unfortunately, that didn't work out too well. To give an example, I could have gone and drawn each mother with their child and have them each have another dialogue block dedicated to giving birth, but by the time I got to that point, I realised it would mean drawing and writing a lot of extra things, and I was well and truly ready to just finish this project at that point. This is also why each character has 8 phases instead of the more common 12 I tend to use. So, I apologise if this feels lazy, because at some point, it kind of was. But it's still in a state I'm happy to release it. (In fact, just thinking of this, it would have been cool to add some kind of easter egg with a comeback of a particularly stupid legendary pokemon. But again, I have to call it quits at some point).

So did I learn anything new in this animation? Well, I improved my expression system slightly, cutting down on tedium and the likelihood of mistakes. I also created a "snake" code, which I used for the trail of sparkles into the belly. Other than that, it was re-treading my AS2 knowledge.

As for birth, there's a lack of a birth button this time around, because (At least I think) it's pretty straightforward to figure it out this time around. We'll wait and see what people think though.

I think that's just about all I have to say about it. Let me introduce you to this girl-band of pokegirls, carrying and delivering the next generation of poke-song-girls!
