There we go. It took a long time to get this to look good. I would lie if I said I wasn't at some points frustrated. But anyway i think it was worth the work.I'm practising nebulas a litte. I will leave it to you to tell me if i succeded on trying to create an interesting one.
The thing i like about Dance most is the colour i think and the lightning.
Full view is a must!

Pretty awesome. I think the nebula dust patterns at the top look cool enough by themselves. Awesome deviation anyway. good quality.

This looks great. Planets, sun, rings, nebula... they all look very good. Small planets in the top half of the image really give the sense of depth to whole piece. My only suggestion is regarding the solar flare of those shiny stars near the top. All flares are the same (horizontal), so perhaps a little diversity in this regard would be nice. Just a suggestion.

But i allways thought that the "flares" as you call them (don't know a better name either) could only go in one direction or at least to the same point in the perspective strain (don't know the english word for that spot)...

I am no expert by any means. I've just noticed that many space art images feature flares (or whatever they're called) of different shape, strength, luminosity and color. Also, in many images taken by Hubble, you can see the variety of these phenomena. Still, space art is so great because nothing is set in stone and pretty much anything can be made to look realistic. I suppose that in the end you should go with what best suits your own vision.

okie not to be a party pooper but i think the nebula looking thing coming up from the planet looked a little out of place...nice use of 'Sir Greg Martins' tutorial...btw how did u make the rings...i like those...like your works

thx for you're opinion. the rings are made in photoshop. check on inner-space i think they have a ressource concerning rings. And btw i didn't use a tutorial for the nebula...

grab the brush in photoshop put a texture on top and reduce the opacy and go crazy ^^. Sry but there is really not much more to it. I still get frustrated from nebula painting.

i really like the red nebula light above the planet!!

I really like the nebula brushing, the lighting, the planets. Just two things I could stand to see changed... overall, the colour is a bit too monotone, too much of the same color of red all over. Also, the sun seems a bit too big... if the flare was that big, the planet would have less of a shadow, I should think....
Still, a definate fav from me!!

Wow, amazing detail. I do not understand what causes rings on two planes, however that does not lessen my appreciation for the work, especially the nebula and miriad of background stars.
