You know, "everyone" always pairs Octavia with Vinyl... I could easily see them collaborating to create and mix modern, neoclassical compositions.
Take for example The Piano Guys:
Moonlight

I confess. I have never liked the idea of them being a romantic couple, or roommates. A lot of the canonized fanon seen in Slice of Life was... not to my taste.
But a strictly professional collaboration does sound good, although probably not something they would do often. Until the audience wants nothing but classicstep, and they ended up burned out of it. >_>

Or Michael meets Mozart.Oh yes! Almost forgot about that one. Kung Fu Piano: Cello Ascends is also quite nice.
On a slightly different tack, Zoë Keating's We Insist works well too...

I had a good friend in college who loved to convert classical to rock and vice versa. He did a wicked version of the bass line on Nantucket using the bass violin. I remember Switched on Bach by Walter Carlos. On of my fav albums.

How about some cello-metal a la Apocalyptica?
Comes up on stage all prim and proper an then starts headbanging to something like Fisheye or Path ?

I think Octavia's hair is long enough to do something like Perttu Kivilaakso in Hope
(He is the chap with the centre with the black hair; can't miss him!)
Alternatively, if you want to do a collaboration with Vinyl, a violin/cello + dubstep like Lindsey Stirling's Moon Trance would be superb

Thanks for the new music ideas.
I am known for listening to all kinds.
Like artists I am just fascinated by musicians talents.
I use to play the clarinet. Not well but I tried.
Mainly to make my mom happy.
Which she never was but that is not important right now!!! I am and have found art and music thanks to folks like you.
Thanks loads!!

I love how 'in the zone' Tavi appears to be as she plays.
