Elvira is the real name of the woman whose face you see in this accurate grave statue. Died 1914. 🌹

Few people go to the old tombs, because most of those families don't have descendants anymore, today. So you find silence and tranquillity there... There's decay, most of the statues are damaged and many graves are falling apart. I go there to look at what nobody looks at. In search of a flower grown among ruins, of a story that makes me curious, of a peculiar glance from an old photo or of a unique face like Elvira's. 🌹 🌹 🌹
