Description
The third row of fan-enemies to show my excitement for the upcoming Blasphemous 2.
The Drowned Baptist is an apparition made entirely out of water, said to be a baptized maiden that supposedly didn't make it through the 'extensive immersion' within the water, but has risen up as something else entirely nonetheless. It is in motion but is capable of raising streaks of water from anywhere to drown out the unbaptized. The thing on it's head was originally gonna it's hair, but I thought to make it easier and more fitting to have it resemble one of those hair-obscuring headwear of the sort.
The Righteous Beheader is a heavy-hitting undead zealot said to be a self-sanctified executioner that brandishes a two-handed an axe for lopping the heads of undesirables, delivering two powerful blows stringed together with an upward strike and downward chop. This one is somewhat based off a religious thing called Cephalophore, where a sainted figure is depicted as carrying their own severed head or whatnot. This is also one of the original fan-enemies I ever created back when Blasphemous was still yet to be released.
