Sinking suckling roots into mortal souls
A silver thimble pushing dark threads
Into skeins of wild, disquiet dreaming
With a crescentiform needle of thorn
Meticulously stitching caliginous dreams
Into the fertile loam of unconsciousness
Filling mortal souls with wolfen eyes
Trackless wilds and the poplar grove
Her voice croons on the night winds
"Come to me, child of man
Labor not under the glaring sun
Find succor in the darker thoughts
Taste of the soft springs of moonlight
That trickle through whispering leaves
Learn the refreshing taste of shadow
Find balm for your withering heart
Come to me and learn to bloom."
