Sketch commission for my2k of Johann Kraus from Hellboy.I wanted to draw something in the art nouveau style. The panel design is influenced by Alphonse Mucha's 'Moet & Chandon' posters, and the patterns are referenced from his designs for 'Job', 'Salammbo', and 'Princess Hyacinth'. I thought Mucha's use of mysterious symbolism would be fitting for the character. Eheh. Still have to read Hellboy... *covers head*
