Description Another 1:72 assembly kit of the company "Revell" that I assembled, glued and painted and put into a nice scenery.

M4A1 Sherman with tropical camouflage I found on World of Tanks. I thought it would best fit into australia with these colours.

Also showing some british soldiers here alongside it.

Oh, not bad. I like how it looks. I wonder if there is a model kit for that out there somewhere. Either plastic 1:72 or papercraft would be nice.

Don't hold your breath man...I think we only made about 100 or something...But I bet you had never heard of it?

Not until now.

Australian tanks are not that well-known, yes. I recently heard of the Bob Semple tank that your "neighbors" made but that was a total failure.

Oh, no I didn't see it. Somewhat looks like a 4TP met a universal carrier and they had offspring.

These went straight to the pacific theatre...we never really had them here...We built our own tanks here in WWII...it is a little known fact eh.

Hmm yes, I just wanted to find some area where this camo could seem remotely useful, I thought australia would be good. But as you can see I failed when trying to find something to recreate the red sand....

Hey...It is still a cool picture...The only thing I could suggest is perhaps a dark Burmese-esque jungle setting, the best camouflage I have ever seen was on the upper surfaces of a Bf/Me-109 over the desert...it had like a leopard spotted pattern which meant (And there is a photo somewhere) that the main thing you could see was the crosses...DPCU is the best for Australia...we have used other patterns because we tend to be deployed overseas...but "Auscam" is ideal here with the pattern of leaves and the muted light greens and browns...NATO woodland is useless here.

A curious and less known thatre of the IIWW. Australia had his part in the war, but I've seen very little dioramas there or dedicated to de "aussies". Good work pal.

Well, it is not meant to be dedicated to australia to be honest, just found this "tropical" camouflage interesting and then thought it would best fit into australia with these colours.

Thank you!

I just print 'em and put em in the background...

If you really want I could make a photo showing the setup of the technique.
