Description 1:72 resin kit by "WSW Modellbau" which I assembled, glued, colored and put into aΒ nice scenery.

Borgward IV was an ammo carrier and later also used as mine searching vehicle and heavy explosive charge carrier. Like the Goliath it was able to be remotely controlled, however it was able to drop it's explosives and return to the operator before the charge was detonated.

EDIT: This was the first model where I used a special wash colour - citadel shade nuln oil. I think it is an improvement over my usual technique of just using thinned black. But what do you think?

Very nicely done. A trick for placing a light vehicle like this that has no room for extra weight and that you don't want to glue in place, is to cut a small keyhole shaped hole in the bottom of the model. Then run a thin wire with a small bead into the hole and the other end through the bottom of the diorama after pulling the model down. You can wrap the wire around a small nail or I used to use a small clamp. This will make the tracks flatten the grass and not appear to be floating, while still allowing you to move the model after; the grass will hide the hole in the diorama once the wire is removed. I've also used an elastic band around the axle of a dragster to make the tires bulge.

Thank you.

That's an interesting idea, but not possible as I take my photos outside on the balcony (for natural light) and therefore drilling a hole through the ground is not possible.

So the artificial grass is on your balcony? Interesting, I like how the bushes blend in with the artificial turf and the photograph behind them. I suppose you could always get a small piece of plywood with some of the same grass and make your own, but if you are starting from that point I'd suggest using Woodland Scenics's grass; more work, but worth the effort IMHO.Β

Yes it's something like this: ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I…
It's often used for balcony grounds here in germany.

If I started to put so much work into dioramas I might aswell make a fixed one which is not going to happen because I'm a wargamer.
But hmm... maybe I might make a display stand for a few models some time.

It doesn't have to be a lot of work, just a display large enough that you can fill whatever frame you want to fill (maybe two or three vehicles) and set it up so that the vehicles all sit properly and don't appear to be hovering over the grass. If it doubles as a display stand, so much the better

It's a pretty unknown vehicle.
