Description I promised to participate in his "nontraditional elf" drawing-fest. My elf is a mechanic, which I think is pretty non-traditional for an elf if I do say so myself..

Hahaha! I like the fairy too..

You're not allowed to call my stuff brilliant.. It does not compute. You're too good to think my art-farts are brilliant.

Well done I do say Erin, I dont know if you knew him but...I worked with a guy named Jason at Video One...this is totally him...if you knew him and his hobbys you would totally know what im seeing. Anyways, awsome....and I think it is amazing what you can do with a ball point pen.

Yeah, I met Jason a couple times, actually.. I knew he was into cars, but I didn't know him that well.. *l* Oh yeah, he DID wear one of those hats, didn't he?

ps - you were tagged just so you know.. Read my latest DeviantART Journal.

Your artwork is out of this world. So much life in this sketch; the sketchiness just puts the icing on the cake. I've always dreamed of being able to draw something like this. Maybe one day I will be able too and you'll always be an inspiration.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

basakward In reply to Mizzkitty [2005-12-05 18:25:39 +0000 UTC]

Hyenaworks [2005-12-05 08:42:19 +0000 UTC]

No kidding. Especially since in my mythos, Elves are considered the "perfect" race and wouldn't soil themselves with the likes of auto repair.. LOL

I do like how the sketchiness keeps this a "mess". Sometimes I think really cleaned up art on a messy scene ruins the "mess" quality.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

basakward In reply to Hyenaworks [2005-12-05 18:55:57 +0000 UTC]

Makes ya wonder who gets stuck doing dirty work for the "traditional" elves!

Glad you like it, thanks!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Hyenaworks In reply to basakward [2005-12-05 22:33:01 +0000 UTC]

LoL Well according to most fantasy it seems Elves don't anything or have anyone do anything for them. They just are. No problem.
