first this idea started when i was like hey I've never seen an anthro chupacabra then i was like hey this would be a great idea to have as a fictional series within my stupid comic. Like a tv show. he isn't actually purple i just don't know how i want to color him yetYes he has two cigarettes. He was initially a Regular PI who got cancer from smoking too much so he made himself a vampire through some cult thing and now he is still a PI but also a vampire who solves mysteries betwixt the normal working class and the life of the cult and other evil forces.
also i had a pretty... not bad but stupid gross day. And i just feel like I've wasted my saturday. First i went grocery shopping. Then i drew one decent sketch. Then i tried to draw other stuff but it wouldnt work. and its ridiculousy hot in my room and i feel like death. I kept dying in binding of isaac and I'm usually great at that game. So i didnt get nearly as much done as i wanted to today so I'm disappointed. I tried to finish a comic page i have stated but i just wasn't feeling it. And it makes be sad because i need to work all the time. Cuz like i really like ideas for the comic but my drawing of it isn't as fast as my mind thinks so its like WHOOSH

okay, I thought this was a reference to a YouTuber who recently used "vampire chupicabra" in a blog he was making, that advocated not dragging political dogma from either the left or right content creation. It seemed like a very specific coloration but coincidence is just funny that way some times.

Was it uhhhh what's his name... kothorix??????I was totally watching that video so you are right he reminded me of chupacabras when he used them in an analogy then I stopped watching the video and got distracted and forgot all about the video I was watching🤷♀️
His vids are in my recommended all the time I think this one was about the no nazi furs allowed thing... so d r a m a t I c... idk about anyone else but I'm just here for the charming animal characters haha

Agreed, hope people keep all that nonsince to themselves. I want to see other people's worlds and show them mine. I'm all about sharing art. This is a refugee from dealing with all that other garbage.

I like this vampire idea too, although I don't support smoking in any way, that's a pretty cool character.
And if you're thinking you're having a bad day, I wouldn't suggest you go out for a walk and get some fresh air before starting some projects to try to cheer you up. Often, a bad start of the day may result in a chain reaction of bad charisma and I don't wanna sound like a hippie if I hadn't experienced it myself. Breaking your chain can really give you a boost sometimes...

Haha its weird i think smoking is pretty gross(i wouldnt try it) but like, lots of my characters smoke?
The descriptions of chupacabras online are pretty varied, so i made it like a bat with spines and big teef

lol i tried to make it as ridiculous as possible...
I've had the idea of making an issue/page/spinoff thing that is just an episode of the show. Id need more time to sit on the show's concept and also to make more actual comic pages but i like the idea haha
i love thing in universes(like tv, brands, food items etc) that aren't pivotal story items, but would be common or necessary for the characters to use or see. it really brings some character and depth to stuff. Ive noticed that, when writing or just thinking, i like to think about little details that connect to the big idea. Ive never studied writing and i don't know what I'm doing, but the natural way my brain tends to think about things tends to make them half-decent, in my opinion haha

I enjoy them too but I have a hard time making them without trying to integrate it into the story. I think that is a really great way to world build, just by adding little things that would be so normal in their world it wouldn't even be worth mentioning
