Just day by day, our DNA,
So the Olson twins got nothing on us.

Today was wear it purple day and my friend and I worked real hard to make it happen at our school, even though the Government said we couldn't have it as a mufti day, we did anyway and nothing dampened our spirits.

After going through hell and back at my old school and feeling so worthless and ashamed, it made me so incredibly happy and fulfilled to see all my wonderful friends and teachers and school community supporting me and the other lgbtqi+people at my school.
We had a wonderful assembly where my friend gave a speech, as well as our principal, and a friend sung mary lambert's "she keeps me warm" and my pal and I cried some happy tears I felt so overwhelmed by the genuine support everyone showed, especially our teachers, I've never had school faculty in my life before that is so respectful and proud of who I am?? It's so wonderful
Anyway long story short even if you feel nobody supports you, know that there are hundreds out there who do, no matter what anybody leads you to believe. <33
