ok so back when rift was still up and running, I think there was a thing about champions and gods? (Or early in Sundown, my bad) and so my crazy theory is that the sword given to Steve was one of Notch's champion's sword, or it is the sword of the champion who represents Notch

...or was it not him? A blade with a taste for celestial blood is not the sort of weapon you really want to fall into the hands of mortals. And who is Nehemia. That sounds like a Valkyrie/ancient champion/ancient hero kind of name to be honest with you.

Did Alex make that sword? I forget, because if she didn't, maybe the blade is referring to it's fourth wielder? Someone who had it before Alex and Steve?

Very obviously been activated by the blood of a god though. Not sure what's the with "infernal land" bit. I mean if it's talking about where it needs to "taste" a god's blood then surely this needed to happen in the nether, not the overworld? Unless it's referring to the fact that Herobrine's power is connected to the nether and thus saying it had to be herobrine's blood but, that makes no sense tbh. Maybe it's just, being really insulting to the overworld idk.

Okay, I think that after Lord Notch had that fight with Lord Hero, he created a sword that would allow a Spawn or a Human to harm Lord Hero, to ensure that they can stay safe. Somehow, this sword ended up in Alex's hands and they gave it to Steve after the rumours she heard and the fact that he was going to be traveling alone.
As for the future...Lord Hero and Steve will end up kissing (not even sorry)
