This looks like something parents would talk about to scare their children. "Behave, or the Flesh Harvester will take your limbs! An arm or a leg each time you've been bad. If you still can't behave when he's taken them all, he'll take your very soul!"

No worries. You could start illustrating folk tales, because your style would fit well with the many twisted creatures people have imagined through time.

Thanks for the idea, I have long wanted to do a couple of pictures on the works of Gogol, but for some reason don't made it. It's necessary to return to this topic.
