Here are some more discarded animals I did for a project at work. Some of these have been left in and redesigned a bit, but I cant say which ones. Most of these were liked, but the higher ups decided to go with a different approach to the project, so I had to scrap most of these little guys to make room for the new stuff. You can see a few of the ones I had to redesign, and there's a few more redesigns where those came from, but I cant post those, as they're being used.Perhaps at some point I can post the actual project, but I dont know, they're awefully paranoid about people stealin' shit, especially since our 'industry' is so competitive..blah blah blah. Those of you who work in graphic design and related fields, y'all know what I mean...
100% Illustrator, tho I did compile this in Pshop and fuzz the pretty-but-also-scrapped background, to help the animals stand out some more. All original art is vector though.
God, this project has so much discarded artwork it's not even funny...

Hmm, I dont think so. I'd be interested in some cool wide work tho, for a small fee. I realize not everyone can afford freelance rates, especially if they are an individual. I should ask about the animals, see if they would care about using the discarded ones.

I just adore the bright and wonderful colors.They are so vibrant and they brings out the creatures.Plus the expressions on the animals are so neat.

Oh wow, if these are the discarded, the graphic design industry you in must be at a whole nother level. Wow, these looks amazing. How do u come up with all this? You just open illustrator and start pen tooling or something? The colors are so vivid and superb.

Oh, it's not that they werent any good or werent liked, the project just took different directions. I did most of these in sketch for first, always a good idea, then did them in Illustrator. I looked at a few references, but that's about it ^_^

Being a character designer takes mucho dedication. Its very difficult to break into that. I had wanted to do that for some time as well, but I cant even begin to muster the badazzery it would take, at least for the places I wanted to work at
