SooooOooo. Season 2 of SengoBasa is coming out. So I went and finished Season 1. Because I'm a sucker for ancient stuffs and Date has one eye. (Dah-tay, not Dayt for those who don't speak Japanese.)Also, I'm going to explode if I don't get new Gintama.
I don't really recommend this anime to anyone. It's actually got really shallow characters. [Except to the morons COUGHMECOUGH who go wiki all the real counterparts and pretend the anime ones share the same past] Very nice animation though. Like. EXTREMELY nice.

And like all things, Bassara has to think too hard about stuff that doesn't matter, when watching mindless anime..and all sorts of weird junk pops up....so stickcomics it is 8).
Oh right. Part I only. Go to next deviation..for the rest of it.

Ohgod, when I see those names, I just think of Samurai Deeper, which is without a doubt ten times more shallow. And not very historically accurate at all. Hey, I'm in AMERICAN history, not Japanese... It's kind of amazing I know about them at all.

Samurai Deeper was the first manga I picked up. I was...9, I think, and it was volume 2. With a two page ecchi spread that I somehow missed the first time I flipped through it. Ah, elementary school. (And I STILL follow it, after all these years. How's that for dedication?)
It's ridiculous and sort of awful, but I love it so much that I own almost every single English release.
