Very easy to understand, but open for different interpretions. It's obvious that he/she is reaching for something, but what she/he is reaching for is not obvious. It could be divine, as have you said. It can be pretty general, to reach for something you cannot have. I myself imagine that he/she is reaching for something higher than possible to reach, driven by grief and/or dreams. Very nice, but a tad naive, shot

there's this movie called "Merlin" that I haven't seen in a thousand years but the part I specifically remember is where he reaches into the sky and takes the moon and holds it in the palm of his hand. This photo brings that back to me. I love it.

yeah.. i stared at the sun for like 10 minutes before i got satisfied with the positioning of the clouds.. I live in the basement of our house.. lets just say i had problems with finding my room after the picture were taken
