I mean... maybe it's only me always digging in art for something deeper, but... what is this fanart about... for You? I mean something like Your background, a message maybe? Like it was not only a character from the game but piece of art. What would it be?

yea, I didn't think of the theme of like, large bestial creatures and women/girls together at first but it shows up a lot in many media. I guess it could mean a lot of things, innocence and corruption, sex and death, beauty and ugliness, or "Beauty and the Beast" or maybe that the wolf represents the spirit of this character (that she is like a wild animal). I think with this character she was created in a lab, then the wolf spirit thing tried to eat her, and she burst out of it. after that she commanded the creature and it appeared behind her. I'm not sure much of that makes sense even in the game world but I guess the fact she is called "Unknown" and the wolf thing kind of suggests what is frightening about the unknown, or the mind or desires of a wild animal. the character appears to be a clone of another character and she is (I guess) "evil" version of that character. but I guess I just think of her as a version of that character with only instincts and not human emotions. ^^

It is very interesting story of her. I like it a lot. Wasn't it told in the game what the wolf actually is? I guess it was some crazy thing they did to her in the lab.

Well, I'm quite interested in such topics like these cause... well.. looking at this I just... feel like I was seeing my own portait. Just thought that even construction of Your drawing is quite similiar to portrait of me I've sent You some time ago, showing You my OC Acheron. I don't know if You remember, on that drawing there was a little girl. She is a representation of me. And well Acheron there was in a human form, but it is not only form of this character (some are much more animalistic, even bestial and demonic). For me personally oxymorons like these are always interesting. Like these two words I told You I am living in when I told You about the art I love the most. It is frightening when as a little girl You recognize that You have a monster inside. But... with time when You get to know him better, start to understand the reasons he appeared, that it was just a natural reaction to things You experienced, You grow up and see that... everyone has a monster too. Some of them are big, much bigger than Yours, some quite small (but if You'd feed them they could be huge). Some are outside some inside... Some have a leases, some are trained, some behave like dogs, some like wolves, some like cats, tigers or... bears, foxes, dragons, demons etc. But... I haven't found a man without a monster. They are just hidden. But if You'll look closer You'll see them. BUT! on the other hand everyone has some kind of nice creature inside too. So... there is a balance. And in most cases people are able to live with it, quite happily. Sometimes only questioning... what is hidding in the dark, do satan exist... maybe it exist in us (oh no no, tell me the story about the girl with the red hood, I wanna believe in the wolf that the evil is outside of me). And sometimes some people are even more crazy than me and want to know the beast that much that they make experiments about it and show the beast to the science. I love people like these

I think I agree with your view. there is darkness inside of everyone, or if people are animals there is a less civilized and more violent part to them all. they are only "house trained" to behave like civilized people by our societies, but at the slightest push, it can break down into something more basic. some people need more of a push, some people need less. but it's in there.Β

I agree with You totally. This thing about animals in us - You are absolutelly right. We are "house trained" animals - totally true. I have wondered what would be if other spiece took our place and well... maybe "plants eating" animals would be more peaceful humans than "everything eating" apes... but... well predators could be very bloody humans... like... vampires? Sure thing. Acheron here You go. I have drawn him recenly, even posted some of the sketches to DA Meet my Inner Bucky - Acheron /concept sketches/ , also drawn some twisted aliens. I think I am preparing to open the pandora box in me. I opened it recently on my therapy process and I guess I am ready to be just... me. Even if I'd loose some watchers because I got some really creepy and sick things in the head and they wouldn't like it :/ I is a part of me. Cannot hide it no more, especially I start to be able to paint them in realistic way (haha, like one w of my watchers wrote "Let it buuuurn, let it buuurn, can't hold it back anymore, The fire never bordered me anyway" hahaha I love this version LOL)
I don't know where You can find written form of RRH as wolf - as a tale itself. But it starts to be quite popular version. Recently saw it on TV serie Once Upon a Time. There she is a wolf. Also very interesting things about old legends You can find in "Woman Who Run With the Wolves" (of course wolf things also available) it very wise book with lots of knowledge about the archetype of strong, wild woman. I like this book a lot. It also shows a man in the old-new light. Some other point of view than "christian Europe"
