This pic is a placeholder till I get off my lazy butt and take a more recent one of it healed and touched up.

Backpiece, shortly after the work was complete. Originally had the inner tribal done about a year prior, along with the kanji text, a literal translation of my name. Decided I wanted something more substantial, covering more space on my back, and when browsing through the tattoo designs here on deviantart, I came across a design from Liz @ TTR Studios [link] . I contacted her, as I knew it was a piece she was designing for a client, and told her about my plans for the design and if she would allow my use of it. Fortunately she did, cause it turned out great. We did a wash on the whole piece to give it a faded look, to make it appear as sort of an underlay to the tribal peice. Work done at Blue Moon Dermagraphics in Savannah, GA. Enjoy!

PS: as some of you may notice, there was a small part of the feathers that we missed in a nook of the tribal design. It has since been filled in
