Description A musculature and keratinous/ornamentation reconstruction of the Jurassic Park (1) Tyrannosaurus rex, Roberta, for what it would've been like in life with the skull is has. Many skull references from photographs (namely AMNH 5027) and skeletals were used and modified accordingly to fit the design as needed. Matt Dempsey's musculature reference was used as a basis for muscle groups.

The grey keratin/scale extensions don't need to represent keratin, it likely could (in life) be part of a bone with skin, cracked keratin, scaly keratin, etc. For this skeletal though, it is considered some form of ornamental extensions. The only 50/50 position of this is the jugal projections, although it doesn't affect much in shape if it were changed.
Musculature is not meant to be 1:1 accurate but it is meant to be a very close representation from the model composite used from the neck.
All anatomy here only applies to the ILM and animatronic model from the first film. Buck is slightly different with a shorter snout and more pronounced keratin, while the Jurassic World model has less neck musculature and keratin with a thinner skull and larger eyes, while the JWFK and JWD model has a similar musculature but slightly reduced keratin.
