"Gah!" Kasumi snapped back to consciousness, awakening within the belly of the lurker. "Oh no..." She cried, recalling the horrific experience of being eaten alive. Kasumi moved around in what little space she had left, pressing against the lurker's stomach as she contemplated her hopeless fate. In the manor's main hall, the lurker had taken the liberty of hopping onto the couch, wanting to be comfortable as it digested its meal. Behind it, the naga contended with its own feud. It traded blows with the Scagdead, neither of them giving an inch. The scagdead no longer possessed the ability to spin its blades, lacking the nutrition necessary to perform the taxing endeavor. This leveled the battlefield for the naga though, the reptile faring better than its master had.

A quick whip of its tail swept the scagdead's right leg out from under it, allowing the naga to pounce and work toward a killing blow. It locked its jaw onto the scagdead's lower left arm, sinking its teeth into the bulbous, mutated flesh. The lurker was uninterested in the fight as it spread its legs and plopped down on the couch, ignoring the visible handprints as Kasumi struggled within. Kasumi's breaths became labored as sat on her hands and knees, feeling the flesh beneath become damp...

"Where the hell am I now?" Kaila Yang arrived in a massive hall after evading yet another hungry predator. She was a very attractive Asian American who'd had the misfortune of investigating noise complaints originating from the Croft manor. She had arrived with a partner, but they were separated shortly after being attack by a voracious plant just outside the main entrance. "Wait, what's this?" She could hear the sounds of monsters battling below, approaching the railing gingerly to investigate. Sure enough, two beasts were locked in combat as another lounged on a nearby couch. "Just great, out of the frying pan and into the fire. Why the hell did I have to take the call?" She cursed the fact that she ever responded to the disturbance in the manor. I wonder where Sonia is right about now She pondered the status of her partner, not knowing she had been devoured and digested by one of the very creatures below her. The frog on the couch piqued her curiosity however, its bloated stomach a telltale sign that it had just enjoyed a hefty meal.

Kaila saw the hand prints even from the second floor, having rescued Sonia from a similar fate earlier in the night. There's somebody in that thing!

A) Attempt to sneak past the battling creatures and shoot the frog from behind, Kaila has developed quite a bit of experience in evading creatures throughout the night. This is a bit more risky than she's accustomed to however, she would have to wait until just the right moment so as to not alert the two monsters fighting. (65% chance of success, 55% chance to be devoured)

B) Take pot shots at the frog from the second floor, Kaila is a good shot and hitting the frog wouldn't be difficult, it's hitting the woman inside that would pose a problem. She would have to aim for the head of the lurker and fire a precise shot as her gun would surely alert everything within the room. (45% chance of success, 20% chance to be devoured)

C) Create static with her walkie talkie and throw it as a distraction, Sonia hasn't been responding all night and the signal has been blocked since they arrived. She might as well make use of the piece of equipment. The two creatures battling likely wouldn't respond to the noise, but there's a good chance the frog would if it is still awake. Kaila could throw it at the base of the stairs and make additional noise to draw it toward her location. (74% chance of success, 53% chance of being devoured)

D) Let everything below play out while Kaila watches, it's simply too dangerous to do anything else at the moment. She is safe for once and would rather not leap directly into danger so shortly after escaping it.
