Apollo. That one blue wyngling that is seemingly always happy and upbeat. Nothing nor no one could break his spirits. Truth be told, Apollo was getting more and more lonely and depressed as time went on. All his friends were growing up right before his eyes and to him, it meant losing them. Sure, new friends came into the picture, but they too grew up before he could and it was just another nail in his heart, but he must press on! No one could possibly see him break. Not even Alma herself.

One devastating crack in him was when his first best friend Aphrodite grew up and seemingly disappeared from sight, only leaving a letter of apology. He could see, but was heartbroken. The final blow to him is when Misty grew up. The only gro left to keep him happy...now grown up. Altogether he disappeared from view, avoiding his now grown friend, along with older friends.

Apollo was frustrated at himself. Sure, he has issues since he was born, but his growth stunted while watching everyone else grow was torture. Why he couldn't grow up? Was he to be stuck as a wyngling for the rest of his life? He really didn't want that. He didn't want to be a bother to Alma and others forever. His only wish was to grow up so everyone could stop stressing over his well-being. As he snuck back to his bunk, a box was waiting for him, along with a letter.

"Dear Apollo,

I'm sorry for everything. For not being the friend you could count on. For leaving you alone. I guess my fear got the best of me. I was afraid and I regret it. I got this for you. Hope you love her as much as she loves you. Hope you'd still recognize me. We'll see you soon!"

Apollo started crying as he read the letter. He hasn't heard from her in a long time. He was amazed she remember him at this point, but sad that it took her so long. Some things would never change with her. He rubbed his eyes, trying to wipe away the tears, when he was suddenly pounced on by a small runeboo. This was the gift. The best gift he could of gotten. The baby boo rubbed their face on his, trying to get him to stop with the tears. He was too happy.

Finally. He was feeling happy again.
