Get to know the next batch of kids from Shadowcast. Meet Pei. John, Layla and Amira.

Pei Lee
age: 16
eyes: grey
hair: short, black and swept forward
Originally from China, Pei always looks smug and tough. His dad, Singh, is a diplomat and like him, Pei expects everyone to do what he wants, whether they like it or not. He's spoiled, selfish, and very dominating.
There is only one word to remember when drawing Pei: SHARP. Sharp eyes, sharp features, even his collar, lapels and cuffs are a bit exaggerated... he kinda resembles Iori Yagami (from KOF). And he's always got this sly look on his face.

John Griffin
age: 15
eyes: blue
hair: short blonde hair with long bangs
John is- for the lack of a better word- sooo EMO. Silent and shy, his folks don't pay him much attention. John is unfortunately always being pushed around especially by Pei . He's actually quite resourceful, but he's also a bit of a klutz(and he knows that) and blames himself for everything. (cheer up, emo kid )
John is probably the easiest one to draw, yet his expressions are a bit tricky to pull off. Especially with those big sad, eyes. His hair drops down to cover them, like he's always trying to avoid attention.

Layla Catava
age: 15
eyes: brown
hair: short dreads which she neatly pulls back with a barret. ^.^
Originally from Uganda, Layla is quite sweet and friendly. Unfortunately her mom Cohilla always orders everybody around, and Layla tries her best to please her. This also makes her a bit undecisive- she'd rather just go along than get into an argument.
Layla's face is rounder to bring out her more "wholesome" personality, Yet her eyes and brows are angular(don't want to be too wholesome). Her hair is also pretty fun to draw(basically you just squiggle a lot)

Amira Albertson
age: 16
eyes: jade
hair: spiky sunburnt auburn hair up to her shoulders
Originally from Israel, Amira is a rebel, a troublemaker, and a bit tomboyish. She's also quite tough, athletic and bossy. Her dad's an ex-military and she hates being told what to do. She doesn't trust anyone- she'd rather do everything herself.
Amira is fun to draw! Just look at that rebellious hair and sharp eyes. She looks like a character straight out of Gatchaman with that hair, and that shirt. She's got this really naughty smirk, and very square shoulders. But I also wanted to show her feminine side, so I'm always careful not to draw the "A" on her shirt flat.
