Something for Women's Month... kinda late, but I'd like to think every month should be Women's Month, know what I'm saying? ^.^Written and sung by The Piano Man Billy Joel, of course. It may sound like a cheesy song, but I find it as one of the best written songs ever. Honest, funny, a bit dark, sweet, and endearing. ^___^
A smiling, blushing Sam?
It's a sight seldom seen, but what a sight to behold. Sketched with a very dull 2B clutch pencil on spare artboard, then colored in Photoshop. Tried another coloring style this time, not really keen about it, but I like how her lips turned out.

This is a really great piece, and I get a sence of sadness in her eyes. I'd always imagined the girl in the song to have short hair, but that's just me. I love the way you draw hair, trading detail for effect and style. What kind of ink and paper are you using? I'd imaging that much India would warp the page.
