Description A shot I'm still iffy about but I really liked the lighting and mood conveyed enough that as much as I've waffled on submitting it in the past, I think the timing is right.

Its funny to think that Superman's figure evolution has been covered almost by DC Direct pretty well, from his first appearance in Action Comics from 1938 through the Silver Age inspired designs of Al Plastino, Carmine Infantino, and Wayne Boring, to the modern "Man of Steel" era from the period of John Byrne's resurrection to the beefy, break you in half but has responsibilities attitude of pre-New 52. I think what I was trying to achieve with this shot was a moody atmosphere that still exuded the hope and feelings of hope that Superman elicits.

OH MY!

I Liked this A LOT!!! I just love the way the light shines on them, leaving the shadows behind, and the poses, even if they are simple are absolutely great!!! REALLY nice pic!

Thank you!

There is an alternate version where the lighting is different and poses are different too. Apparently that one people liked more than this one but something about this one I always liked better (maybe the shadows)
