Description
I was inspired by various WWE video games, where pairing superstars of past and present become so unique and fun. They can range from Andre the Giant facing off against the Big Show or CM Punk having a good old time fighting Ultimate Warrior. One of these scenarios was what if Vince McMahon had it in his power to grant any winner of the Money in the Bank ladder match a chance to fight a former champion of their choosing. And what if Ziggler, the longest holder of the blue briefcase, wanted to cash his contract in to fight the "Macho Man" Randy Savage for a shot at the Winged Eagle belt to become the real "undisputed" World Heavyweight champion.

My custom Hogan was much too tall to really fit (its too accurate at 6'7, when I strongly believe that Hogan may have been 6'4 or 6'5 at best) and I don't think Ziggler would have benefited from a win over Hulk Hogan at this point. But pairing off against Savage, whose character could flip the script between heel and face easily than most, Ziggler would have someone to really fight and push him to the limit over who was the greatest superstar in the WWE universe.

I switched out the arms on my Savage (using the old WWE All Stars figure that came in the two-pack against John Morrison) using the arms from the Ziggler in the Battle Pack with Vickie Guerrero. I could have done the switch with Iron Sheik's arms but since I only have one of him and didn't want to go through the effort of repainting Savage's wrist tape I went with Ziggler, whose arms are just as good a match for a younger Savage, since he was never as jacked as the arms Mattel gave him with this and his other figures. Honestly Mattel doesn't make enough Savage figures, and would love some more from his later WCW run, not just nWo stuff but like the World War 3 '95 match where he became the World Heavyweight champion, or even the all black/du-rag combo that he had around 1999 when Gorgeous George was his valet.

Ziggler is also a custom, mostly a headswap with his Elite 13 figure and the Battle Pack basic. The head sits better on the neck I felt, much better than the no-neck of Elite 19. He's also got another figure coming up in Elite 24, so I may end up checking that one out if it's different or has different accessories to make it worth the while. For now, this is my perfect Ziggler.
